Adele Franck is a French-American writer/director whose work combines magical realism and dark comedy to explore identity in today’s world. She recently directed a short documentary-commercial for Land Rover Defender, and her short film Monk Fruit (2024) premiered at LA International Shorts and Cannes Indie Shorts. Her previous films have screened at many festivals, including Cucalorus and Citizen Jane.
She honed her craft under Rian Johnson’s mentorship, contributing to Knives Out, Glass Onion, and Poker Face. She is currently developing her first feature, and wants to tell stories about internal worlds that vividly come to life.
